Community art exhibit
Calling all artists.

The Bluffton sesquicentennial committee will hold an art exhibit and contest open to persons of all ages – youngsters to seniors – as part of this summer's 150th celebration.

The exhibit will take place Friday and Saturday, July 1-2 on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn.

Min Lindsey is in charge of the exhibit. The theme is "Ohio." Lindsey will accept pieces in three categories:
1 - Two dimensional
2 - Three dimensional
3 - Photography

Entries will be accepted Thursday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. by Lindsey in the Presbyterian Church. Prizes will be award July 1. Pieces may be sold, if the artist chooses to sell the work.

Women's program

The committee is inviting all women of the community to give talks during the celebration week. The talks will take place in the town hall on Monday, June 27, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

If you have a favorite theme during the 150 years of Bluffton, contact Amstutz, with your information.

"Persons with a special talent interested in sharing that talent, or if you are a member of a Bluffton club or organization and are interested in sharing your club's history, I'd like to hear from you," said Amstutz.

The talks during the day will be divided into appropriate time periods to accommodate each subject.
