Register for 2017 Arts & Crafts Festival

47th annual Bluffton Arts and Crafts Show
Saturday, May 13, 2017 – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bluffton, Ohio

Want to participate in Bluffton's upcoming arts and crafts show? Here's what you need to know!

There is no rain date or alternate facility provided. No refunds given if the festival is canceled due to weather. EARLY REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED. SEE THE FORM BELOW.

Location: Booths will be set up only on Main Street in downtown Bluffton. Bluffton is in west-central Ohio, Allen County, off Interstate 75 Exit 140 (on the south) and Exit 142 (on the north).

Booth size: 15 feet across by 10 feet deep. There are approximately 110 booths available. Exhibitors may register for more than one booth, as needed.

Fee: Booth fee is $40 each; $60 after May 1. Booths are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis through registration. If you have attended our show in the past and wish the same booth, register early! There is no refund policy.

Set-up times: Crafters may begin setting up at 6 a.m. on Saturday. All vehicles must be off the streets by 8:45 a.m.

Parking: Parking for crafters will be in the public parking areas only. After unloading, you must move your vehicle to the designated areas. If you require special parking for a medical reason, please notify the chamber CEO in writing prior to the show.

Guidelines: All merchandise shall be of a family-oriented nature and not offensive to the public. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse any merchandise deemed offensive and not suitable to our festival. We appreciate photos sent to help us determine placement for the event. Photos will be returned to you the day of the event.

The Official Guide to the
2016 Bluffton’s Blaze of Lights!

The Blaze of Lights is more than just a one-day event. In addition to the events taking place on Nov. 26th, it includes these elements that continue nightly through Jan. 1:

  • the Ream folk art holiday display
  • the Gift of Giving light show extravaganza
  • Bluffton Main Street business district Christmas window displays
  • a tour of Bluffton’s residential yard lighting

The stage is set for the 2016 Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Blaze of Lights. This year’s event, the 30th annual Blaze, begins Saturday, Nov. 26, in downtown Bluffton.

Here is the up-to-the-minute Blaze information.

Friday, Nov. 25 - free movie at Shannon Theatre
Tommy Tire Sales and Stratton Auto Group present two free showings of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” at the Shannon Theatre. Showings are at 1:30 and 4 p.m.

Holly Follies Variety Show - The follies take place Friday, Nov. 25, and Saturday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m. in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium. Tickets are sold at the door for $5 adults and $3 children, free for youth 3 and under.

Ice sculpture – Warming up the Blaze with ICE…
Ice sculpturer Paul Ahrens, known as the “Ice Man” of Precise Ice in Hilliard will be delighting and entertaining with his INTERACTIVE ice carving demonstrations. Starting at 3pm and lasting until 5pm, he will be carving and also offering hands on fun for the kids. Amazing photo opportunities.. Get to Bluffton BEFORE the parade to participate in the fun.

This year’s Blaze of Lights is fast approaching.

But, there’s still time to enter a float or parade unit in the parade that is one of the highlights of the event. This year’s Blaze, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce takes place on Saturday, Nov. 28, in downtown Bluffton.

This year’s Blaze theme is “A Christmas from the Past.”

Hancock County Convention and Visitors' Bureau Oct. 9 chamber presenters

Representatives from the Hancock County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, Findlay, will tell about their work in promoting Hancock County events during the Friday, Oct. 9, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast.

Their work includes promoting Bluffton events since our community is also part of Hancock County.

Others introductions at the meeting:

• Rafael Arciga, owner of the soon-to-open Don Jose Mexican Restaurant at 142 N. Main St.

• Senior members of the Bluffton High School homecoming court

Saturday, Sept. 26 - it's Bluffton's Fall Festival!

The Bluffton community’s 12th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 26, according to Daren Lee of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, who coordinates the festival.

Long-time Main Street businessman, Gary Kirtland, in chamber breakfast roast, Sept. 11

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will honor Gary Kirtland, a Bluffton Main Street businessman for nearly a half-century, during the 7 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, chamber breakfast, in the Bluffton town hall.

This is the first chamber meeting of the 2015-16 seasons. The breakfast program is a roast of Kirtland, who operated Kirtland’s Auto Sales on Main Street Bluffton until his retirement earlier this year.

Chamber launches new membership drive with special invite to persons who want to help promote Bluffton

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce launches its new membership drive for 2015-16 on Sept. 1. 

With the drive the chamber also launches into several fall activities.

The first chamber breakfast of the fall is Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 a.m. in the Bluffton town hall third floor. The meeting will include an update on several chamber events that have taken place this summer. In addition, several new members and new Bluffton businesses will be introduced.

It’s August but the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce Blaze of Lights Committee is already at work.

This year’s Blaze of Lights is Saturday, Nov. 28.

According to Lauren Beasley, Christmas lighting contest director, “This year’s Blaze theme is ‘A Christmas from the Past.’ Downtown businesses are encouraged to start thinking about ideas to decorate their store windows based on that theme.”

Spectrum Salon host to July 16 cash mob

The July Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce cash mob features three area businesses.

Spectrum Salon, 442 N. Main St., hosts the cash mob from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, according to Mandy Kinn of the salon.

“In conjunction with our specials and a drawing for a gift card, two other businesses will be showcasing what they have to offer,” she said.

These are Everything Nice Custom Bakery (Nicki Moser), and Damsel In Defense, (Tracy Long).
