About Bluffton​​

 

Bluffton is home to some 4,500 residents of Allen and Hancock Counties.  Described as “suburban” by online references, Bluffton is remarkable for its compactness and completeness.

 

The historic downtown is full of dining, shopping, and services--as well as a movie theater, senior citizens center, and seasonal farmers market.

Nearby recreational opportunities include the Bluffton Bike and Pedestrian Pathway, Bluffton Family Recreation Center, Bluffton University Nature Preserve, Buckeye Park, Village Park, and Motter Metro Park.

 

Bluffton is rich in educational and cultural resources. Bluffton University enrolls some 1,000 students and shares cultural and leisure programs with the community. The highly-rated Bluffton Exempted Village Schools serve some 1,200 students. Bluffton Public Library provides a wonderfully wide range of activities and resources.

Bluffton also has a wealth of healthcare services. Bluffton Hospital provides services ranging from an emergency department to obstetrics. Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio offers multiple medical facilities and retirement communities. You’ll also find pediatric, chiropractic, podiatry, massage, and other healthcare specialties nearby. 

The Village of Bluffton owns the Bluffton Airport, a public use airport located one mile from the business district. It is the base for local Life Flight service.
